See You Later Party

Saying good-bye is never easy but "see you later" was more befitting to this party.
I decided to incorporated a handmade cake with the initials of the guest of honor,
cardboard heads of him and his family, custom photo cake and photo collage that I made in honor of his service to our young adult group fellowship.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Purple Dessert

This shower for the bride-to-be was based off of her wedding colors, purple and silver. We were honored to have Honeymoon Sweets make our centerpiece cake which was the talk of shower. In addition, the maid of honor hand carried 2 dozen taro buns from the beloved 85 degrees bakery in Irvine, CA. I tried my hand again at cake pops and thankfully they came out just as well.

Springly Vintage Dessert Table

It's been showers galore lately but that just is all the more reason for to celebrate and create new table desgns. This was made for a vintage style bride. I wanted to incorporate paper details such as hand-made poufs, "grass" and homemade macaroons.
I really had fun dressing up some old lanterns with some specialty
yarn and tissue paper.

Sky 2012 VBS

150 planes...15 poufs...20 paper clouds..this year's VBS was made on a budget
but with a lot of helping hands, this all came together and went along well with this year's theme verse
