First job...

Over the holiday I have the privilege of presenting to my first clients. Here's a sampling of the boards. My client's wanted to redo their home library in their house. They wanted a more contemporary style as well as the feeling of stepping into an law library.

FLOOR PLAN & ELEVATION:
I decided to put the elevation drawings with the floor plan in order to help my clients visualize what their library would look like. I utilized a lot of dark woods in the design as well as incorporated built-in cabinetry which would help give the feel of a law library.

FINISH PLAN:
I proposed dark hardwood flooring and a lighter color on the walls as there would be a lot of dark wood incorporated into this room. I had one accent wall to help bring out the fireplace.

FURNITURE PLAN:
I kept the furniture pretty simple but elegant. I utilized blue as an accent color in order to bring some more interest into the room.

FINAL PLAN:
I accessorized the final plan with contemporary and some traditional pieces to still give the feeling of a law library.
Overall, I really enjoyed working on this project and had a great time interacting with my clients. This is only the beginning and God-willing I hope to be doing more of this in the near future.
